LOVE the bright colors. The color palette is very electric for Alice + Olivia’s collection at MAC Cosmetics. I ADORE the yellow and pale pink lip gloss and the nail lacquers. DOPE!

So cute. Madonna and her daughter Lourdes Leon, have designed a juniors collection for Macy’s called “Material Girl” that will be released on August 3, 2010. And not surprisingly, it’s a revamping of Madonna’s original 1980′s stylings with a modern twist that comes from her 13 year old daughter, who also is writing the blog, featured on the website www.materialgirlcollection.com.

The prices are quite affordable, ranging from $12.00-$40.00.

This is the first collection produced by new creative director Sarah Burton and the first collection after McQueen’s tragic death. Inspired by Hans Bellmers and samurai warriors, I do like the collection.  I like that she tried to stay within the aesthetic of McQueen’s known style. LOVE the red and black gown in the first photo as well as the black gown with samurai sleeves in the second photo. Beautiful.

I think Dita Von Teese is phenomenal. So elegant and retro chic…her style can be compared to none. Famed burlesque dancer, entrepeneur…her likeness is now on the limited edition Paparazzi Line of Perrier Water, available in  June 2010. I love the images they used and I think it’s an awesome collaboration.

I am always on the look out for fresh scents for the summer (although I ALWAYS end up sticking to Chanel No. 5….what can I say, I’m loyal to the classics?), and this one hit me like a ton of bricks. I asked a woman  on the 4 train what perfume she was wearing because it smelled awesome. She told me it was this perfume and when I did a little research I found that the bottle is actually designed by London based artist Philip Jones, who’s work has most recently been exhibited in Madrid, Spain. how unique is that???

The scent itself is a multitude of different rose notes with green apple, frosted lemon, and warm amber to round it out. So luscious and soft at the same time. I love.

LOVE the gray roses shadowed on the bottle. LOVE.

The world’s most iconic vodka brand has teamed up with famed director Spike Lee for their city-inspired, limited-edition flavored vodkas.

Released on May 17th, this limited edition vodka will only be available for FOUR MONTHS!!!

Of course, Spike Lee represents Brooklyn with this apple-ginger infused vodka.

The art on the bottle is a depiction of the #165 brownstone in Brooklyn where Lee grew up and written on the stoop, amongst Brooklyn nicknames and such, it features a line from “A Love Poem to Brooklyn” from famed spoken word artist and Brooklynite Lemon Andersen (www.spitking.com)

Another uber cool thing about the bottle?  The Lars Olsson Smith seal, never before altered on the iconic ABSOLUT bottle, has been “Spiked” – Lars wears a baseball cap and glasses similar to Spike Lee’s signature style.

I don’t care what anyone says about Kate, she is effortlessly chic and I adore her. Here she is in the ad campaign for her summer 2010 collection at TopShop. I love the bohemian flow to the entire collection, the 70′s denim cuts and the detailing are awesome. Me loves.

The summer approaches and with the change of seasons comes a fantastic new summer line for MAC Cosmetics.

Being released on May 28, 2010 for a limited time only (sale fo the line will cease this JULY!!!!), I love the Bronzers and the sea themed designs on the packaging. I LOVE the orengey-coral lip gloss (the bottle has SEAHORSES on them….my fave!) and I adore the mauvey-pink lipstick.

I am a thick, voluptuous girl…size 12 borderline 14 depending on the cut of the clothing. I’m not skinny…I get it.  LoL. And despite the more often than not smaller cuts of H&M clothing…I always seem to cop an item or two that was made just for me. So, it’s especially exciting when I find some looks that are soon to drop.

The below collection is for H&M Fashion Against AIDS, a venture started in 2008 as a way for celebrities to use their fame to continue spreading knowledge and awareness of the worldwide AIDS epidemic . This particular collection, launching on 5/20/2010, will give 25% of its sales to AIDS awareness organizations. I love the funky tribal feel to the pieces mixed in with the glam of sequins. I actually really like the sequined peach jacket… it would look kind of cool over a wife beater and some ratty jeans… dressing up the grunge so to speak.

Tom Binns was commissioned along with Stella McCartney to create a  jewelry collection in collaboration with the Disney Store. The release of the collections will coincide with  the release of Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland” film during the week of March 5th.  Prices range from $100 to $1000.

I adore the Charmed Adventure necklace and the Chesire Cat smile earrings featured in the first photos.

Dropping at the end of March 2010, H&M’s Garden collection is full of bright florals, peaches and creams, and sturctured femininity. I adore most of the line and what I love even more is that the collection is made using organic recycled materials.  LOVES!!!

I am a HUGE fan of chunky statement rings.

In saying this….I was standing on the train one afternoon, when I looked down and saw this young woman playing with this amazing amethyst ring. It was so stunning that I had to ask her where she got it. She only said two words “Amrita Singh.” The next day at work, I sat and googled until I found Amrita Singh’s website…and the beautiful ring which I so desire.
